Update: 50 Cent’s Estranged Son Says ‘I Have No Phone Number For You & You’ve Had Me Blocked On Social Media For Years,’ While Speaking Out Against The Rapper’s Claims That He’s Only Trying To Publicly Rekindle Their Relationship For ‘Attention’

Update: (Oct. 20, 2022): 50 Cent’s son Marquise Jackson is firing back at the famed mogul as he continues on his journey to fix their relationship.

In a lengthy message shared to his Instagram page, the recently turned 26-year-old blasted his dad’s claims that he’s just speaking out about rekindling their relationship because “he wants attention.” He shared a rare photo of himself and his father, seemingly taken before their fall out, and caption the post,

“Now y’all all see I tried to reach out to talk to my pops as a MAN in front of the [world] & behind the scenes. I have no phone number for you & You’ve had me blocked on social media for years so I can’t DM you personally & everybody that is mutual is scared to touch the topic bc they’re scared of you. This seems to be the only way to reach you. I’m not a kid anymore.”

He continued

“No mommy involved. I don’t want nor need money from you. I stand on my own 2. I don’t like attention I had so many opportunities to get that and I choose not too. I saw the breakfast club interview and it didn’t sound like much accountability there just ego, blaming and more so about money as if you were the child in the situation. Those text messages was ME I was waiting outside for you that was the day you broke my heart. I forgave you for it. I’m ready when you ready to sit down & talk.”

He added,

“I DON’T know that kid his friend asked for a pic he fanned out and held it for years. Look at the tags in the picture everybody but me if that was what I was trying to do I would of posted it myself. The bozo said it himself we DIDN’T and DON’T know each other. Just a goofy clout chasing tryna sell shirts of his alleged dad who he don’t even got a jail visit pics with & hitting up people that know me tryna set up a event for some bread. But y’all think it’s about the attention & money for me right?”

He then noted,

“If I knew who he was I WOULDN’T have done that. I found out the same way the rest of y’all did. Y’all can stop the [cap] now. I APOLOGIZE to anybody that this photo may have hurt, but I wasn’t aware who he claims to be. I thought it was just a fan asking for a picture. Any other “enemies” you’ve seen me in a pic with I’ve known them to be family damn near my entire life bc of my pops. You only know the Kid Marquise. COME MEET THE MAN.”

In the media featured within the post, Marquise Jackson also shared video footage showing that his dad has blocked him on IG. In addition, he added receipts to back his remarks in the caption that he once unknowingly took a picture with someone who seemingly has beef with his father.

Original Story: (Oct. 19, 2022): It looks like 50 Cent is apprehensive about meeting up with his estranged son.

During a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent was asked about his estranged son’s, Marquise Jackson, recent interview where he stated that he wants to meet with his father in hopes of reconciling their broken relationship. The rapper-turned-business-mogul quickly interjected and said,

“No he doesn’t…See, Charlamagne, you would call me. You don’t call TMZ to say you want to sit down. Think about it, man. You know, he wants some attention, and it’s okay he can have as much of that as he wants.”

50 Cent suggested that Marquise has been “trained” to believe what he said in his recent TMZ interview “for a long time.”

“You don’t just wake up and say, ‘Oh well I don’t believe what I’ve been believing forever.”

He then expressed his frustration with his son’s mother and accused her of not managing her money properly.

“When I said that he’s entitled, really it’s his Mom’s entitlement but it’s been filtered. I told you I was giving her half a million dollars a year, they go through the paperwork they see half a million dollars a year. At that point, she still was expecting more. This is why I took her to child support. You don’t usually sign up for child support, like, I took myself to child support. Because she wasn’t understanding that I’m already giving you more than you’re supposed to get…It’s never going to be enough.”

The ‘In Da Club’ rapper added,

“I don’t feel the pressure or resentment that men feel with child support because I take care of it when the problems happen.”

When co-host Angela Yee made a comparison between Marquise and the main character in 50 Cent’s hit series Power Book III: Raising Kanan, the TV producer agreed.

“It’s really like him, the kid has been sheltered. If you mailed someone a million dollars, right, and [they] have zero respect for you, how much you think you got to give them before they have a little bit?”

As previously reported, Marquise Jackson recently took to Instagram Live with entrepreneur and former rapper Choke No Joke to express his frustrations about his father and his child support payments. According to him, the $6,700 a month he received from 50 Cent wasn’t enough to stay protected as the child of a famous person or live comfortably in NYC.

“You’re talking about a Forbes lister, you’re talking about someone that has problems with everybody, you can’t just live in any neighborhood, $81,000 is not a substantial amount of money. You can’t just live anywhere. You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can’t just live anywhere.”

He added,

“I know what it feels like to have nothing, alright. I jumped out of a burning house. I had nothing. I had to rebuild my life over with $6700 a month.”

In a separate interview, he later expressed that he is more than willing to have a chat with his estranged father and see if they can come to some sort of understanding and truce.

“I don’t even know if a sit-down can restore the situation. It’s more so, it’s an olive branch. If you up for it, I’m up for it. I’m definitely willing to sit down with him so I can hear his perspective and gain a little bit understanding. I mean, we’re both men at the end of the day, we should be able to agree and disagree and it not be a problem.”
