Drake Announces ‘Her Loss’ Collaborative Album w/ 21 Savage, Only 4 Months After ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ Release
Drake is definitely in his music bag at the moment!
Over the weekend Drake, 36, and 21 Savage, 30, finally released the visuals for their hit song ‘Jimmy Cooks’ that’s featured on Drake’s seventh studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’ Towards the end of the video, which is a little over 2-minutes-long, the Grammy-winning rappers announced that they have a joint album dropping soon.
The project, entitled ‘Her Loss,’ is slated to be available to the public on Oct. 28. It’s important to note that Drake released his most recent album — ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ — only 4 months ago on June 17, 2022. This project will be 21 Savage’s 3rd collaborative album. He’s also put out two solo studio albums.

Even though this will mark the rappers’ first joint album, the pair are no strangers to working together. In addition to ‘Jimmy Cooks,’ you can hear the Canadian and Atlanta natives team up on tracks such as; ‘Knife Talk,’ ‘Sneakin’,’ ‘Issa,’ and ‘Mr. Right Now.’
Recently, 21 Savage, born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, shocked Spelman and Morehouse college students by bringing Drake out as a surprise guest during their homecoming concert. While on stage, Drake shared,
“By the way, I didn’t get invited to this show. Nobody from Morehouse asked me to perform. My brother brought me here, so make some noise.”
