Drake & 21 Savage’s Collaborative Album Delayed Due To Producer Testing Positive For COVID-19

Drake and 21 Savage had to push back the release date for their joint album titled “Her Loss,” which was supposed to be released this Friday (Oct. 28).

On Wednesday (Oct. 26) Drake took to his Instagram story to alert fans about the delay of his highly anticipated collaborative album with 21 Savage. According to the Canadian native, due to his producer, Noah40Shebib, contracting COVID-19 the project has been temporarily paused. The new release date has been moved to next Friday (Nov. 4).

Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, wrote:

“Our brother @ovo40 got COVID in the middle of mixing and mastering the crack… He’s resting up and we are dropping November 4th Her Loss.”

As previously reported, this will be the rappers’ first joint album together, but they have teamed up on songs countless times before. 21 Savage, born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is featured on “Jimmy Cooks” which is included on Drizzy’s seventh studio album “Honestly, Nevermind.”  You can also hear the pair come together on tracks such as “Knife Talk,” “Sneakin’,” “Issa,” and “Mr. Right Now.”
