Update: Nick Cannon, Soon To Be Father Of 12, Shares He Pays ‘A Lot More’ Than $3 Million Annually In Child Support To The Six Women He Shares Children With

Update: (Nov. 14, 2022): Nick Cannon wants ya’ll to know that when it comes to his family, he’s not cutting any costs.

Nick, 42, is shutting down reports that he pays around $3 million a year in child support payments to the 6 different women he shares children with. As previously reported, The “Drumline” actor recently welcomed his 11th child with model Abby De La Rosa, 31, and he’s expecting baby number 12 with model Alyssa Scott, 29.

After reports estimated his child support payments to total around $3 million, Nick revealed in an interview with The Neighborhood Talk that the hefty estimated fee is actually low. He shared,

“I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually.”

He continued and hinted that despite financially taking care of his children, he’s not legally tied to child support payments. He said,

“I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system.”

Even though he noted he pays more than $3 million, Nick didn’t reveal the exact cost he’s shelling out in support of his large growing family.

Original Story: (Nov. 11, 2022): Nick Cannon has a lot of kids, a fact that’s certainly reflected in his estimated child support payments.

The media personality’s annual child support obligation is estimated to be about $3 million, taking into consideration his high-income earning capacity among other things.

According to California practicing family law attorney and legal expert, Goldie Schon,

“When you have somebody like Nick Cannon, who’s an extremely high-income earner, the courts in California have the right to deviate from the typical child support guidelines.”

His $20 million net worth is not taken into account, but his annual salary is.

Goldie Schon added,

“If he is taking home somewhere upward of $5 million a year, you have to look at what it would take to have the children kept in the lifestyle of both parents. Dad is clearly a public figure and makes a substantial income. The lifestyle has to be the same with mom as it is with dad.”

Nick Cannon’s ninth child will probably cost him roughly $40,000 per month in child support to maintain LaNisha Cole and their infant daughter Onyx in the lifestyle of both parents.

Brittany Bell recently welcomed her third child with the former daytime talk show host. They’re parents to Golden, 5, and Powerful Queen, 1. Nick is reportedly paying Brittany Bell around $60,000 a month plus any additional costs. The monthly child support payments for a third child would increase by another reported $20,000, totaling $80,000.

Goldie Schon said that in accordance with California child support guidelines, the calculation for each subsequent child after the first is around one and a half.

When it comes to Abby De La Rosa, Schon claimed that since she already has one-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, having a third child with the TV host—who will be Nick’s 12th—could push her yearly child support to insanely high heights comparable to those of fellow new mother Brittany Bell.

According to Schon,

“Abby was probably getting between $600,000 and $750,000 a year from him just in child support, then plus things he’s probably also paying for like school or child care- all of those extras. You add her upcoming third child in and that likely kicks her to making close to a cool million a year.”

Nick also recently welcomed Legendary Cannon, baby number eight, with model Bre Tiesi, and she now receives about $40,000 each month from the Wild N Out host for the son.

Schon estimates that Nick is paying close to $3 million in child support annually between LaNisha Cole’s new addition at $40,000 per month, Bre Tesi‘s son at $40,000 per month, then factoring in baby number three for both Brittany Bell and Abbey De La Rosa at $80,000 per month each.

Given that Mariah Carey, 52, is thought to make more money than Nick, he’s unlikely to pay child support to her for their 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

It was only a week after Nick announced that he and model Alyssa Scott were expecting their 11th child, that Abby made her big announcement. Nick and Abby tragically lost their son, Zen, in 2021.

Schon stated that because none of this information is available in the public record, it is impossible to know with certainty how much each lady is receiving.

He added,

“This man actually has the ability to have children with women who don’t litigate against him. He’s clearly been so generous with his finances and his income that he’s stopped them from going to the courthouse. While Nick may very well be keeping his mothers and children financially stable, the hard part is being there for the children and parenting. I would like to see Nick do more of that.”

Simply put, Nick, who will soon share 12 children with six different women, has a lot coming from his bank account.
