Diddy Reacts To DJ Akademiks Calling Yung Miami A ‘Side Chick’ Following The Reveal Of His Newborn Daughter w/ Another Woman: I Don’t Play About My Shawty Wop

Media mogul Diddy is ending all the “side chick” chatter.

The DeLeón owner took to Twitter today (Dec. 13), and responded to anyone labeling his dating partner, Yung Miami of the City Girls, a side chick.

All the drama began after Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, 53, shockingly revealed the birth of his new daughter, Love Sean Combs. The hip-hop icon has been publicly dating rapper Caresha ‘Yung Miami‘ Brownlee, 28, though both have confirmed they are “dating but single.” Following the birth announcement, culture commentator DJ Akademiks labeled Miami and the musician’s other dating partners a “harem of side chicks.”

However, Diddy directly stated that side chick is most definitely not an appropriate label for the QC artist. Speaking on his relationship with Miami, who he often calls his “Shawty Wop,” Diddy wrote:

@yungmiami305 is not my side chick. Never has been, never will be. She’s very important and special to me, and I don’t play about my Shawty Wop. I don’t discuss things on the internet and I will not start today.

And followed up with:

“So think what you want. But know that if you do something to hurt mine, I’m gonna to come to your house and we’re gonna talk about it like human beings. LOVE.”

As previously reported, Diddy welcomed Love with 28-year-old cyber security analyst Dana Tran back in October. The Grammy Award-winning artist was seemingly able to keep the big announcement under raps. However, Diddy made the surprise reveal via Twitter a few days ago. He shared:

“I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!”

Miami has yet to respond to Diddy’s support, but the City Girl is still gunning for DJ Akademiks along with fellow rapper and bestie Santana. The rap star retweeted “FACTS!,” responding to Santana’s tweet where he seemingly addressed the podcast host, writing:

You a twitch b*tch! At home in a room full of corn chips! Screaming & spitting in a mic. Taking yo aggression on woman cuz we know u don’t get no p*ssy!!! D*ck beater. I know imma MAN everyday when I wake up… that still ain’t gon make u do sh*t.
