Offset Celebrates 31st Birthday In Jamaica w/ Wife Cardi B, Family & Loved Ones
Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) is all smiles as he celebrates his 31st birthday!
Following the murder of his cousin Takeoff at a Houston bowling alley in November, the rapper — who makes up one-third of the Atlanta rap duo Migos — has been experiencing intense grief. Thankfully, Offset is currently surrounded by loved ones and appears to be in somewhat of a better place as he celebrates his birthday in Jamaica with wife Cardi B, her sister Hennessy, and others.
In a video shared via Cardi B’s IG Story, the “Happy Birthday” song by Stevie Wonder played in the background as Offset smoked and enjoyed a feast of massive lobsters and other delicacies at the Lobster Dave Seafood Restaurant and Sports Bar in Ocho Rios on Wednesday (Dec. 13) night.
Another clip showed the partygoers grabbing shots and dancing the night away under the Jamaican moonlight as Cardi B charmed her husband of five years the entire time with her seductive looks — which are always up to par, by the way.
It’s nice to see Offset in good spirits, as Cardi B previously shared how difficult the grieving process has been for both herself and her husband in the weeks following Takeoff’s death. The rapper admitted to feeling “hopeless” while trying to make her better half happy.
Cardi explained,
“We’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy. I feel like if I talk about – the internet’s so desensitized – how we really feel, what motherf–kers really been going through, y’all would start saying, ‘Oh sympathy.’”
The ‘Ring’ rapper continued,
“We don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case, but no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, Trying to make him crack a smile.”
Offset Shares He Will Pay Tribute To Takeoff ‘Before Every Show’
Cardi said seeing Offset “randomly cry” has broken her heart. However, she acknowledged at the time that since it’s been a few weeks since the tragic shooting, people are starting to feel more “comfortable trying to be funny.”
Offset was born on Dec. 14, 1991.
Happy birthday, ‘set! theJasmineBRAND sends tons of love and well wishes!
