The mother of Nick Cannon’s ninth child, LaNisha Cole, is moving on with her life, and it doesn’t include her daughter’s father.

A few days ago, LaNisha Cole raised eyebrows when she took to her Instagram Story with a cryptic word about protecting her peace for the sake of her little one, Onyx.

She reportedly wrote,

“It’s important for me to keep things positive and maintain my peace in the midst of it all. It’s not easy but I have to do it for my daughter. She is incredibly blessed and is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love – it’s real day in and day out love.”

Of course, following her post, many speculated that LaNisha Cole’s message was in response to Nick Cannon’s recent holiday photos with the mothers of his other children, Abby De La Rosa and Bre Tiesi. But… Cole did indicate that her primary focus is currently on the betterment of herself and Baby Onyx, and she has no ill feelings toward her months-old baby girl’s extended family.

The established film producer/photographer then addressed the loads of backlash she had received and alluded to leaving a toxic relationship, which most assumed was with Nick Cannon.

“Yes I’ve made mistakes. Yes I’ve put myself through unnecessary pain and heartbreak (which we’ve all done in the name of love. You have too!) But I’m choosing to do better. Calling me baby mama #538 every time I say the sky is blue is uncalled for and it’s getting old. I get it. My life plays out publicly but there’s a lot you don’t see. There’s always so much more I want to say but this isn’t the time.”

However, Cole (apparently) has a new man in her life–and he just might have been in our faces all along! The former ‘Price Is Right’ model shared an image of herself on the day that she met her “best friend” and “partner in crime” outside of a museum.

When speaking about the memorable moment in time, she detailed:

“I took this pic back in January in the parking lot of the Norton Simon Museum. Ths was the first genuine smile I had in a while. My spirit told me to go. It’s funny because I was there early and this random car pulls up next to me in a completely empty parking lot and 2 guys get out.”

Cole continued,

“One of those guys was @brianpaulkuba. I had no idea I was pregnant [with Onyx] at the time. But this was the day that I got up off the couch and decided to put myself first. This was me taking myself out on a date lol. It forever changed the course of my life for the better.”

Cole then concluded by expressing how beneficial their connection has been not only for her self-growth but also for embracing her pregnancy journey.

“Lord knows I needed someone like him to be by my side throughout one of the most difficult and important moments of a woman’s life. Y’all have been watching it play out this entire time.”

The 40-year-old gushed while recalling how the gentleman approached her in the sweetest manner, instantly sparking something between the two.

“He came up to me and was so sweet. We talked for a few minutes and I asked him if I could take his pic. I still had no idea what he actually looked like until we met up again.”

Cole and her suspected bae have been spotted together on the ‘gram frequently, but no one knew that their bond surpassed their creative link. If you didn’t know, Brian Paul Kuba is a filmmaker and producer. Based on their online profiles, they’re (seemingly) working together on a project.

He added a photo of Cole, co-signing their meeting being a life-changer for him as well.
