Ari Lennox Shares ‘Age/Sex/Location’ Tour Will Be Her Last, Fans React: Please Say Sike!
If you’re an Ari Lennox fan, you might want to do what’s needed to see her on tour this go around!
Singer Ari Lennox, 31, has made it clear that this will be her final tour. Yesterday (Dec. 22) the D.C. native took to her Twitter and shared that tour life just isn’t her thing. In a short tweet, she revealed,
“‘Age Sex Location’ will be my last tour [red heart emoji] I love my genuine fans so much and can’t wait to give you my all every night!!”
She continued and let her fans in Europe know that, despite this being her final tour, she, unfortunately, won’t be able to see them.
“Europe I love you but unfortunately there will not be a tour due to reasons out of my control. Happy holidays [prayer hands emoji] See you soon Vegas!”
It’s unclear what prompted Ari Lennox to vow to never tour again, but this isn’t the first time she’s taken to Twitter to seemingly vent about the music industry. At the top of this year, following an interview gone wrong, Ari Lennox hinted at being done with music. As you may recall, in January media personality Mac G faced a little backlash for asking Ari a sexually explicit question during a virtual chat. After naysayers claimed the “Boy Bye” singer shouldn’t have been offended because she sometimes sings about sex, Ari took to Twitter and said in now-deleted tweets,
“I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.”
She continued,
“I will continue to sing about d*ck when I want! And you misogynistic peasants can continue to jerk off to my music thank you!!!! Good morning”
She added,
“wouldn’t last a day as a signed artist.”
