Kevin Garnett Reaches Custody Agreement w/ Mother Of His 2-Year-Old Daughter Following Child Support Battle
The parenting arrangement between Kevin Garnett and one of his exes has finally concluded.
According to a report from Radar Online, the 46-year-old former professional basketball player recently reached a settlement agreement, months after the mother of his young daughter filed a lawsuit to legally cement their co-parenting agreement.

Back in June of last year, we reported that Garnett was hit with a court-ordered paternity test after allegedly fathering a child. Now, it’s reported that the woman, named Necat Akman, was successful in the suit, though Garnett is reported to have claimed the child from the start. The former couple share 2-year-old daughter Naya, who Ackman seemingly parents full-time.

Reportedly, both Garnett and Ackman are listed as parents on the child’s birth certificate, dated April 2021. Per the custody agreement, reportedly, the woman agreed on an undisclosed amount in child support. The legal document reportedly added:
“The parties further acknowledge and agree that the terms of the Confidential Judgment with respect to payment of child support and child support add-ons are in the best interest of the Minor Child, and that her needs will be adequately met by the agreed-upon amounts and related agreements.”

The former Boston Celtic player was reportedly granted visitation rights as well in the agreement, with Ackman retaining full custody. It is noted, however, that the agreement is open to amendments in the future if circumstances change for either party.

As previously reported, the newest addition to the Garnett bunch was born shortly after the hooper’s divorce from ex-wife Brandi Padilla. The pair were married for 14 years — and share two daughters together — prior to Padilla filing “irreconcilably differences” in 2017. In their lengthy divorce battle, the former Mrs. Garnett was reportedly awarded $146k per month in spousal support and another $46k in child support. Garnett has not spoken publicly about his newest child at this time.
