DJ Envy Claims Irv Gotti Owes Him $10K While Discussing Alleged Financial Dispute Between Master P & Jess Hilarious
Master P (real name Percy Miller Sr.) isn’t the only person who allegedly owes someone thousands of dollars.
The ongoing financial disagreement between the No Limit Records head honcho and Jess Hilarious has unearthed another one, with DJ Envy (real name Raashaun Casey) alleging that Murder Inc. Records CEO Irv Gotti owes him $10,000 and has been avoiding him for years.
The Breakfast Club co-host spilled the beans while the Master P discussion was airing on Thursday (Feb. 23). He claims he and DJ Mono were hired for a track by Irv Gotti (real name Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr.), and while he received the front-end payment, he was told to “keep it moving” when asking for his final cut.
DJ Envy claims he was anticipating the money Irv Gotti supposedly owed him because he hadn’t yet attained his current financial status. He and Mona allegedly had to resort to splitting the initial payment.
The claims come after Master P dubbed Jess Hilarious‘ assertion that she is still owed $15,000 for her role in I Got the Hook-Up 2 as “fake news.”
The businessman delivered a substantial Instagram post on Wednesday (Feb. 22) and claimed to have documentation of the contract Jess Hilarious (real name Jessica Robin Moore) signed. He also refutes claims from Fat Trel that he illegally released some of the D.C. rapper’s tracks and profited from it.
P said,
“I wish @fat_gleesh_ the best. But he is owed nothing from me or my company. The only business we ever did was put out a free mixtape on Livemixtapes.com in 2013 which is available to download for free today…I covered the entire production costs, paid for flights, an apartment and rental cars that were trashed and damaged…And I have receipts to prove it.”
He added,
“For the cowards hiding behind their computers enforcing fake news, I do have @jesshilarious_official contract from 5 years ago for I Got The Hook Up 2 and the copy of the check that was cashed and paid. She was joking about a second check that was never in her contract. That’s the narrative they ran with for clickbait and fake headlines. Thank God for receipts!”
Well, Jess wasn’t here for the alleged lies or claims that she was clout-chasing. In response, she said,
“You think out of everybody out there right now Imma come after you for clickbait and fake headlines, I don’t have to do that.”
Jess added,
“He playing around with me…I never said; – there was never a second check. There was money paid up front and there was supposed to been another $15,000. I didn’t get the other half of my money stop playing with me.”
Trel also shared a direct message from P‘s son Lil’ Romeo (real name Romeo Miller) attesting to his version of events.
