Houston music star Megan Thee Stallion could be once again expanding her career portfolio.
According to multiple sources, the 28-year-old rapper is part of a short list of names being considered for a leading role in an upcoming Netflix project starring Adam Sandler.

The film is reportedly being written and produced by the Safdie brother’s, who also collaborated with Adam Sandler in the critically acclaimed 2019 sports drama Uncut Gems. Details surrounding the new project, including plot and title, have been extremely tight lipped. Reportedly, Adam Sandler did previously confirm, however, that the movie will be “set in the world of sports memorabilia”. Production will reportedly begin this summer.
Should Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete land the job, it will only add to her growing acting resume. In recent years, the musician has appeared in several TV series, including P-Valley, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Good Girls. Additionally, the “Savage” rapper will reportedly appear in her first feature film soon. F***ing Identical Twins, an R-rated comedy based around the premises of The Parent Trap, is reportedly without a release date.

Despite a turbulent couple of years, Megan seems to remain booked and busy! After winning her assault case against rapper Tory Lanez last year, the “WAP” collaborator took a brief media hiatus. Earlier this week, Lanez filed an appeal to overrule the guilty verdict, seemingly seeking to place blame on Megan’s former bestie Kelsey Harris. The trial was the result of Megan being hospitalized after suffering a gun shot wound to her foot back in 2020.
