Wendy Williams Reunites w/ Estranged Brother & Father In Miami Amid Reports She’s Filming Reality Show: ‘Family’s Everything, Believe That’

Wendy Williams has reunited with her family and it feels so good!

The former daytime talk show host spent Easter weekend with her estranged brother, Tommy Williams, and 92-year-old father. Tommy Williams uploaded a video of the family reunion in Miami on Sunday (Apr. 9), showing the trio aboard a boat. During the video, he updated the public on their rocky relationship, indicating that he and his famous sister have managed to make amends.

Tommy Williams said,

“Family’s everything, believe that. We gonna be alright. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.”

And while she was certainly enjoying her time in Florida, the family reunion isn’t the only reason for the visit. Wendy Williams allegedly traveled to the Sunshine State to film for her upcoming reality show.

A source claimed,

“Not only was Wendy’s camera crew along for the trip, but the main stakeholders in the project were with her as well.”

Following Wendy Williams‘ October release from a Malibu rehab facility last year, her brother and close friends claimed the former talk show host’s “severe” alcoholism was worse than anybody had realized.

Tommy expressed concern about her post-rehab behavior, coming forward in November alleging Wendy hadn’t kept in touch with their family after her three-month rehab stint.

“Wendy hasn’t been in communication the way we anticipated. Everybody’s able to kind of shrug it off, but it’s painful when it comes to her father, it’s painful.”

He continued,

“I think it’s necessary for her to see him and let him know what her status is, but she doesn’t communicate with him. He’s 92 in February, and he’s in great shape, but she’s really missing out. It is more painful because this is the month of our mother’s passing, and now she hasn’t progressed with her relationship with her father. I can’t understand it. It’s really Wendy’s loss.”

However, Wendy is seemingly doing much better and is in better spirits, too.
