Tiffany Haddish’s Comment About Ex-Boyfriend Common Leaves Fans Wondering If He Cheated On Her w/ His Current Girlfriend Jennifer Hudson

They say all good jokes contain some truth.

This much seems to have been proven true by Tiffany Haddish recently after the comedian made a remark that left many wondering if it was just for play, or a hint at something more.

Discussions began after Tiffany Haddish, 43, responded to a fan asking if the comedian had received a gift she sent through her then-boyfriend Common, 51. The Girl’s Trip star dated the Chicago rapper for a little over a year from around June 2020 – November 2021. Responding to the fan’s question, Tiffany Haddish stated:

“Girl he never gave me no d*mn earrings. He probably gave those to Jennifer”

Users were quick to question if Haddish was being her normal playful self, or if she was suggesting infidelity played a role in the couple’s split. The nature of their breakup has rarely been addressed by either of them publicly. Common did eventually give an interview where he claimed the two grew apart due to not “feeding the relationship.” Haddish, however, said that’s not what they discussed. She previously addressed Common’s remarks and said:

“I was disappointed. I was very disappointed. I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘Cause that’s not what you told me, but OK.’”

Adding:

“He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody. Maybe he’s like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower. I don’t know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness, you know. He will always be cool.”

Back in July of last year, rumors that Common has since moved on with songstress/daytime talk show host Jennifer Hudson began to swirl. Speculations were reaffirmed earlier this year after the pair allegedly sparked a romance while playing lovers on set. Neither Common nor JHud, however, have confirmed relationship rumors. Haddish is said to be currently dating a Bitcoin investor.

The TV/movie star’s comment about her ex has now been seen over 750,000 times. Many took to the comments sections to offer their opinion on the matter.
