Donald Trump & Young Thug Both Facing RICO Charges From Same Fulton County District Attorney
Former president Donald Trump and rapper Young Thug might have more in common than it appears!
As you may already know, on Monday (Aug. 14) Donald Trump – alongside 18 co-defendants – made headlines for being indicted in Georgia over his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis filed racketeering charges against the defendants that claim their post-election actions were part of a criminal enterprise. In addition to the RICO charge, Trump was hit with 13 separate criminal counts in the new indictment.
This includes solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit false statements and writings, and conspiracy to commit filing false documents.

The 18 others named in the indictment are Trevian Kutti, former publicist for R. Kelly and Kanye West, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Kenneth Chesebro, Jeffrey Clark, Jenna Ellis, Ray Smith III, Robert Cheeley, Michael Roman, David Shafer, Shawn Still, Stephen Lee, Harrison Floyd, Sidney Powell, Cathleen Latham, Scott Hall, and Misty Hampton (aka Emily Misty Hayes).
During a news conference last night, Willis revealed that arrest warrants have been issued and all the defendants have until noon on Aug. 25 to turn themselves over to authorities. Trump’s latest legal troubles may come as no surprise as he’s now been charged in four separate cases surrounding his presidency, according to reports.

However, you may be a little shocked to learn that Fani Willis is the same D.A. who brought RICO charges against Rapper Young Thug. As previously reported, last May the “Day Before” rhymer was among 28 people associated with YSL who were charged in a 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act indictment. Young Thug’s legal team has tried multiple times to get him released on bond, however, they have yet to be successful in their attempts.
Trump has denied the allegations brought against him. His lawyers released a statement criticizing the investigation, saying,
“This one-sided grand jury presentation relied on witnesses who harbor their own personal and political interests.”
They added,
“We look forward to a detailed review of this indictment which is undoubtedly just as flawed and unconstitutional as this entire process has been.”
