“Love & Hip Hop” Stars Arrested – Erica Mena Facing Felony While Bambi & Zell Swag Hit With Misdemeanor Charges + Saucy Santana Explains Why He Scurried Away & Left The Scene

A few reality TV stars’ recent outing ended with several arrests and criminal charges.

Reportedly, “Love & Hip Hop” cast members Erica Mena, Bambi, and Zell Swag were jailed over the weekend after getting physical with police officers.

According to reports, the incident took place around 11:40pm this past Friday (August 25th) at the Lucca Lounge in Atlanta. The local report states that four individuals got into a fight with security after being repeatedly ask to leave the bar and then were physically resistant to police officers attempting to de-escalate the situation. It was soon revealed three of the four detained were “L&HH Atlanta” stars Erica Mena, 35, and Addie ‘Bambi‘ Benson, 42, as well as Rodney Lazell ‘Zelle Swag‘ Shaw, 36 from “L&HH Hollywood”. It’s noted that the fourth man arrested is seemingly not affiliated with the series.

Rap star Saucy Santana, real name Rashad Jamiyl Spain, 29 was also present, but fled the scene before the arrests took place. The “Material Girl” artist took to social media the next day to address the situation, explaining what happened and clarified why he chose to leave. Referring to his boyfriend and fellow musician Zell Swag, Santana stated:

“Last night my n***a was not fighting no girls, he had got into with the security or the authorities. He was with his homegirls I was out with him and his friends…Erica was very belligerent,”

He continued:

“I don’t know maybe she probably got too drunk…she was real wild last night…She got into it with the security guards. It was like 3/4 big security’s on top of her. So Zell was just being a man, and them his girls. He was trying to deescalate the situation. The people ended up start tussling with Zell, that’s how he ended up going to jail.”

Subsequently, the rapper addressed the only surfaced video of the altercation, showing Santana pushing his way past security to exit the venue. He added:

“I got the f**k out of dodge cause I don’t play that. Zell know I don’t play that. I don’t know how nobody else feel about they name but I know how I am about mines. I left that scene. I went and got my n***a out of jail…that’s that and Zell ain’t allowed to have no more friends. Period.”

While neither Bambi nor Erica has addressed the situation publicly, Zell took to instagram reposting an image of his mugshot, and sharing an additional image with the caption:

“Thanks to everyone that reached out i appreciate it.. I’ll give y’all an update on what’s going on soon.. just respect my privacy at this point.. thanks”

The report notes that Erica was charged with a felony for willful obstruction of law enforcement officers by use of threats or violence, two counts of simple battery, and one count of simple battery against an officer. While Bambi and Zelle are facing misdemeanors for obstruction of law enforcement. Reportedly, Zelle was also charged simple battery/assault.
