Diddy Goes All Out For Batman Halloween Costume After Reportedly Receiving Cease & Desist Letter Over Joker Costume From Last Year
Music mogul Diddy isn’t letting anyone stop his Halloween fun.
Despite claiming to have received a cease and desist order due to his intricate Joker costume from last year, the celeb didn’t hold back in taking on the villain’s long-time nemesis as his persona this year.

Diddy debuted his version of Batman yesterday (October 31st), seemingly as an ode to the 2008 movie “The Dark Knight.” In a short film shared online, his performance as the vigilante featured him saving Hollywood as “The Darkest Knight” and taking on a studio CEO to get them to end the ongoing actor’s strike. The end of the video included an adorable cameo from his youngest daughter Love who he welcomed last year.
Before making his big reveal, however, the billionaire shared that he received a cease and desist letter from Warner Brothers studio, which owns the Dark Knight trilogy, because of last year’s Joker costume. If you recall, Diddy did a convincing rendition of Gotham’s #1 bad guy and wreaked havoc all across L.A. He even nearly got into a physical altercation with with “Power” star Michael Ferguson because the actor didn’t know it was Diddy underneath the makeup, and the entertainer refused to break character.

Speaking on his legal situation with Warner Bros., Diddy stated:
“Breaking Halloween news: last year after I did the Black Joker, I got a bunch of emails from the studio telling me to not be the Joker anymore, that I was breaching the trademark. So I dont know what I’m going to be this year,”

Adding:
“To the motherf***r that took all this time… to tell me not to be the Joker, you win. I’m not going to be the Joker this year because your a** had enough time to f**k up my motherf***ing Halloween…but watch”

The video ended with a sharp message urging viewers to “stay tuned,” leading to the musician’s full-scale Batman reveal. It would not be shocking if we see Diddy discussing another cease and desist letter in the near future.
