Nelly Seemingly Ready To Have A Baby With Ashanti After She Gifted Him With His Childhood Dream Car

Nelly seemingly admits his plan to get Ashanti pregnant. 

Rapper Nelly has been all smiles lately since he and R&B singer Ashanti rekindled their flame in early September (2023). Since they confirmed that they were indeed dating again, the two seem inseparable. In addition to the PDA that neither has tried to hide, they have been gifting each other lavishly. For Ashanti’s birthday, Nelly gifted her a diamond chain necklace and a diamond-encrusted watch. However, it was Ashanti’s gift of an electric blue 1962 Impala convertible to Nelly at his surprise party on November 2 (2023) that seemingly has him ready to start a family with the former first lady of Murder Inc. Records. She bought the “Country Grammar” artist, a rare classic vehicle that was reportedly his childhood dream car.

A Nelly supporter wasted no time urging the St. Louis performer to seal the deal with Ashanti after the actor posted his gratitude from his IG page. He wrote,

“Wow I don’t think they understand…!!!” 

After which the commenter replied,

“Get her pregnant @nelly TONIGHT!!”

Nelly boldly insists,

“I’m on it”

After a decade-long breakup, it is great to see how happy Nelly and Ashanti seem to be after getting that old thing back. Both continued to have successful careers after they parted ways in 2013, and though Nelly has children from a previous relationship and via adoption, Ashanti does not have any children.

As we previously reported, the “Baby” pop artist has alluded to being ready to start a family and since the two have been all gas and no breaks lately, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear wedding bells and baby news in the near future for the reunited couple.
