Yung Miami Seemingly ‘Unbothered’ As Diddy Appears ‘Stressed Out’ In Recent Spotting Following Rape & Sex Trafficking Claims From Ex Cassie
Things aren’t looking so “lovely” for Diddy right now!
Following an internet-breaking lawsuit from his former mate, singer Cassie, music mogul Diddy was recently captured (seemingly) “moping around” his Miami mansion.
In the paparazzi-released photos, which went viral over the weekend, Diddy can be seen sporting a casual outfit as he sits on (what appeared to be) the patio with his employee. The two were believed to be engaging in a “serious” conversation, with the Bad Boy phenomenon later dropping his head in his hands.
While the context of their chat is currently unknown, judging from the images, one can assume that all isn’t well — regardless of Cassie’s legal case against him being settled just 24 hours after the filing.
As previously reported, 54-year-old Diddy was sued by his ex, Cassie, for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking last Thursday (Nov. 16). Before the filing, Diddy and Cassie were in a publicized, over-a-decade-long relationship that remained on and off until their official split in 2018.
In the court documents, 37-year-old Cassie accused the hip-hop heavyweight of “violent behavior” and “disturbed demands,” detailing what she deemed to be a “cycle of abuse.”
Brought under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, the “Me & U” songstress, who signed to Diddy’s record company in 2005, claimed that he raped, physically harmed, and forced her to have inappropriate, filmed relations with male escorts, among a list of other inhumane occurrences.
Additionally, she recalled Diddy thrusting her into “a lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse.”
The 35-page suit read:
“He signed her to his label, Bad Boy Records, and within a few years, lured [Cassie] into an ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle, and into a romantic relationship with him–her boss, one of the most powerful men in the entertainment industry, and a vicious, cruel, and controlling man nearly two decades her senior.”
Cassie said in a statement:
“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
She added, touching on the timing of her allegations,
“It became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.”
Diddy has denied all claims, brushing them off as a money grab and “outrageous.” Ultimately, they quickly settled. However, Diddy’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, stood firm in his expression that the settlement doesn’t serve as an admission to any wrongdoings.
As for Diddy’s ‘Shawty Wop,’ aka City Girls rapstress Yung Miami, she doesn’t seem too fazed by her boo’s latest chaos.
She’s been pretty much silent on social media, except for a family outing to the Dolphins game with the kiddos that she posted to her Instagram Story on Sunday (Nov. 19).
Yung Miami hasn’t been active on social media since the Diddy – Cassie lawsuit/settlement. However, on Sunday she posted this on her stories – out w/ her family at a Dolphins game. **how long before she officially returns to social media?** pic.twitter.com/JVhrLcHEhf
