Nia Long Trends As Fans Suspect She Was The Center Of Lebron James & Ime Udoka’s Heated Argument That Led To The Coach’s Ejection

Lines were seemingly crossed between Ime Udoka and Lebron James during a recent game.

The Houston Rockets coach was reportedly dismissed from the court this past Saturday after the two got into a heated exchange, and social media users eagerly speculated their topic of conversation.

Reports state that both Lebron James 38, and Ime Udoka, 46, received technical fouls subsequent the confrontation. Although it’s unclear what was said between the two, referee J.T. Orr reportedly seemed to believe the situation warranted the punishment. As it was Udoka’s second tech of the evening, per NBA rules, he was ejected for the remainder of the game. Reportedly, the Los Angeles Lakers went on to secure a 107-97 victory over the Texas based team.

Video footage of the incident doesn’t seem to clarify who started the taunting. James, however, did take the time to stop by the Rockets bench in order to say whatever it was he needed to say. In a press conference interview following the game, an interviewer asked the NBA champion what it was that he was chatting with Udoka about. The athlete, seemingly with a hint or sarcasm, responded:

“Thanksgiving. How much we enjoyed Thanksgiving.”

“Speaking of techs, what were you and Ime talking about?"

LeBron: "Thanksgiving. How much we enjoyed Thanksgiving."

"It looked very friendly."

LeBron: "Yeah, it was."

Social media users speculated online what they believe the two could have been tense about. Many users brought up Udoka’s very public cheating scandal involving his ex-fiancée Nia Long. If you recall, the sports professional was caught having an affair with one of his female subordinates last year, leading to his breakup with the “Love Jones” actress as well as his firing from the Celtics.

Suggesting this was the topic of his dispute with James, the social media user wrote:

While another added:

“Bron definitely just asked him if he really cheated on Nia Long”

Many others gave their thoughts on the matter as well – so much so, that Long became a US trending topic.

Neither Long nor Udoka seem to have spoken about the matter at this time.
