Darius Jackson’s Mother Urged Him To Document Alleged Physical Abuse From Keke Palmer ‘Because She Is The Celebrity’: ‘You Got These Pictures To Prove Your Innocence’

Keke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend is seemingly arguing there’s more than one side to every story.

News recently broke that Darius Jackson filed a counterclaim expressing that the mother of his child, Keke Palmer, was “the primary aggressor” in their relationship. As previously reported, last month, Keke Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order and temporarily given sole custody of 10-month-old Leodis after she accused Darius Jackson of abusing her throughout their relationship.

On Friday (Dec. 15), the fitness enthusiast filed a response to the entertainer’s motion for a domestic violence restraining order against him and claimed that she was the one who “engaged in abusive conduct during their two-and-a-half-year relationship.” According to RadarOnline, not only did Darius Jackson claim Palmer subjected him to both “physical and verbal abuse” but, seemingly thanks to his mother, he also included images of his injuries from the alleged incidents in his filing.

One of the images reportedly depicted superficial scratch marks he received from Palmer in October 2021 after she “violently gripped my arm to prevent me from leaving.” Allegedly, the dispute occurred because the “Brotherly Love” star became angry Jackson wanted to leave the home to watch a football game at a nearby restaurant. He reportedly texted his then-girlfriend following the alleged incident,

“You will never put your hands on me again.”

Another moment he recalled in the legal document reportedly took place in October 2022 during a Cancun vacation for his birthday. Palmer allegedly became violent with Jackson when he could not find his phone. Jackson’s declaration read,

“Petitioner had been drinking and was upset that looking for my phone would make us late for dinner.”

And continued,

“I tried to leave to give her space to calm down, but she grabbed my arm to prevent me from leaving. Petitioner then started punching and hitting me, causing me to drop my phone.”

The report notes that he also included texts from his mother in the filing, telling him to save pictures of his injuries just in case Palmer “tries to get you in trouble you got these pictures to prove your innocence.”

She reportedly added,

“Take all the pictures because she is the celebrity.”

Jackson replied,

“I know making sure I have some saved- also people already know she’s abusive.”
