‘Married To Medicine’ Star Quad Webb Reveals Producers Never Told Her About Ex-Husband’s Return To Show w/ His New Wife: ‘I Had To Learn That On Social Media Like Everybody Else’
Would you be willing to work with your ex?
“Married to Medicine” breakout star Quad Webb, 43, not only had to work with her ex-husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, but also his new wife, and she apparently had to do so with no warning beforehand. Quad Webb and her then-spouse Dr. Gregory kicked off their “Married to Medicine” run at the start of season one in 2013. However, over time the couple’s marriage turned sour as claims of infidelity and abuse were brought to the forefront. Following their breakup, Dr. Gregory, 56, exited the show and Quad Webb continued to film, documenting her life post-divorce.

The medical professional ultimately made his return to the series, however, this year, with his new wife, Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford, 32, being added as a main cast member. Working with your ex in any capacity can be awkward, especially when you’re not given a heads-up about the situation. During a recent interview with famed TV producer Carlos King, Quad Webb revealed that she learned her former husband was asked to come back the same way the rest of the world did, “on social media.”
When asked if she ever “received a courtesy call” from production about Dr. Gregory being a part of season 10, she said,
“No one ever called me.”
She then shockingly revealed,
“I had to learn that on social media like everybody else did.”

Quad continued, sharing that she “began to put two and two together” when she saw her co-stars hanging out with the Luncefords.
She elaborated further,
“I felt disrespected, not even a courtesy call. [They] didn’t care how I would feel…nothing, crickets.”
And added,
“I like to think over the years… [we] have become my family. You can’t be with a group of people for 10 years and not have some emotional tie to them. And I just felt like, ‘Did I mean anything to you all? Anything? You couldn’t have called me? You couldn’t have flew to town and sat down with me and had a conversation with me? Did you for one moment take your producer’s hat off and just put on your hat of humanity?’ I wasn’t given that courtesy.”
During her sit-down, Quad also made it clear that despite how some may have wanted her to feel, she has no issue with newcomer Lateasha Lunceford. She shared,
“I don’t have animosity towards [Lateasha]. It wasn’t like she cheated with [Gregory]; this girl came many, many years later. It would be ridiculous for me to have something against her in reference to him.”
