Tesla Engineer Violently Attacked By Factory Robot That Left A ‘Trail of Blood’ Along The Floor
Technology has come a long way…but there’s still room for improvement.
Tesla is making headlines and not for a good reason. According to reports, a Tesla software engineer was violently attacked by a malfunctioning robot at the company’s Giga Texas factory near Austin. The crazy incident occurred while the engineer was programming software for robots tasked with cutting car parts from freshly cast pieces of aluminum. Reportedly, two of the robots were disabled, however, a third robot was mistakenly left on during the programming.

Witnesses claimed that the robot pinned the unnamed man and then dug its claws into his back and arm, leaving a “trail of blood” along the floor. The attack was recently made public, however, it took place two years ago and was documented in a 2021 injury report filed to Travis County and federal regulators. The engineer was reportedly able to return to work the following day.
Allegedly, regulators didn’t receive any more robot-related injury reports by Tesla at the Texas factory in either 2021 or 2022. However, insiders claim that Tesla’s current and past workers have alleged that the company regularly cut corners on operations that should be in place to keep employees safe.
Tesla’s staff have reportedly witnessed many dangerous situations at the factories including; forklifts colliding with workers, an employee’s ankle being caught under a moving cart, and someone being hit in the head by a metal object, which caused them to miss 85 days of work.
