Toni Braxton Responds To Reports That She Quietly Married Longtime Boyfriend Birdman After Sister Tamar Braxton Claimed She’d Been “Blowing Up” Her Phone Trying To Find Out: ‘We’re Both Single’

Word on the street was that Toni Braxton and Birdman had officially tied the knot!

Rumors of the musician’s alleged marriage have been circulating online recently, though the songstress recently shut down speculations denying a wedding has ever happened.

It seems the whispers blew up after Tamar Braxton, 46, spoke about the matter in a recent instagram live video. Claiming that she’s been attempting to contact her sister Toni Braxton, 56, about her rumored betrothal to Birdman, real name Bryan Christopher Williams, 54, Tamar stated:

 “I WANT TO KNOW! I don’t know I came in here to ask y’all did she get married, I don’t know! I been blowing up her phone…somebody gotta tell us something”

The “Love & War” singer went on to claim that she even called her mother about the situation, but claimed she was

“on the phone acting slow”.

Tamar suggested that she wouldn’t be surprised if the stories were true, however, as the couple has been together

“umpteenth thousand fourteen zillion years”.

Her words ring especially true, seeing as though this isn’t the first time it’s been speculated that Toni and Birdman secretly wed. In recent years, there have been several times the world believed the musical couple finalized their long engagement, which theJasmineBrand exclusively reported on back in 2018.

In February of 2021, many felt their marriage was all but confirmed after Tamar posted an image of the pair with the caption:

“@tonibraxton @birdman congratulations love birds” 

At the time, neither Toni nor Birdman seemingly confirmed or denied what they had going on publicly. However, the 7x Grammy award winner did not wait this time around to end whispers that she’s a taken women. The “Unbreak My Heart” artist took to her own social media with a repost of a story talking about the rumored marriage she called “fake news”, adding:

Just last month, the pair seemed to be cozied up to one another suggesting their relationship was at least still going strong. However, it’s unclear if Toni’s post was meant to confirm or meant to simply make clear the two are not married. It does not seem that Birdman has made any comments about the situation publicly at this time.
