Toni Braxton & Birdman Remind Fans They’re Still An Item, Public Reacts ‘See How Long You Stay Together When You Keep People Out Of Your Business’

Birdman and his fiancée Toni Braxton are still going strong!

As you may recall, rumors that Toni Braxton, 56, and Birdman, 54, were an item first surfaced in 2016 after they were allegedly spotted getting a little cozy at the BET Awards. Two years later, news broke that the love birds decided to take things to the next level and got engaged. In 2019, they were at the center of breakup rumors, but Toni Braxton eventually explained that she didn’t do anything to end the separation chatter because she wanted more privacy concerning her love life. She said,

“We don’t know what happened. It just kind of [came out of nowhere]. Someone said it and we were like, ‘OK, we’ll just ride with it because it’ll give us some privacy.’”

Since then, they’ve shared a few images together here and there but, for the most part, have remained quiet about their relationship and pending marriage. Over the weekend, however, the “Breathe Again” singer decided to bless the world with an updated couple’s picture. She captioned the post,

“Sending Sunday kisses.”

It didn’t take long for Instagram users to flood the comment section with remarks about the rare image. One person praised the pair for not frequently giving updates on where they stand and said,

“See how long you stay together when you keep people out of your business”

Someone else with similar sentiments expressed,

“It’s called having a private life ppl lol just because their celebrities doesn’t mean they need to tell us every detail of their lives yall be nosey asf and messy — that’s why alot of them choose to keep their lives private and I don’t blame them”

Many of the comments came from fans who were shocked to see the entertainers are still together. One person wrote,

“Not ya’ll still been together all this time Toni”

In 2020, Toni shared that she and Birdman had opposing opinions about how their wedding day should go. She said,

“We have gone back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date but then it was getting too big. We didn’t want a big wedding, and then we said okay, we don’t want it too small. Then he said he ‘Okay, let’s do the drive-thru.’ I’m like ‘We are NOT doing a drive-thru, I’m not ordering fries after we get married. We’ve been trying to figure it out.”

As of now, it’s unclear when Toni Braxton and Birdman will officially jump the broom but we’re happy to see they’re still in love and (seemingly) stronger than ever!
