‘Bachelorette’ Star Rachel Lindsay’s Husband Bryan Abasolo Files For Divorce & Seeks Spousal Support

Looks like we’ve got our first celebrity breakup of the New Year.

“The Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay’s husband Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce today (Jan. 2). As you may recall, the TV personality and her soon-to-be-ex met on the ABC dating reality series in 2017 and married a couple of years later in August 2019. In his divorce petition, Bryan Abasolo claims they ended their relationship on Dec. 31, 2023. Reportedly, the chiropractor is seeking spousal support and wants his legal fees covered by Rachel Lindsay. The document cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.

Bryan Abasolo released a statement to his IG stories about the separation, writing:

“you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal affairs on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family. Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage. Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew.”

He continued,

“My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yoursalf and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps”

Rachel has yet to address the split, but yesterday (Jan. 1), before Bryan submitted paperwork to legally end their union, the former Extra correspondent shared a post online seemingly hinting at their breakup. In part, the post read,

“IF IT’S FORCED IT WILL PROBABLY FAIL. IF THEY CAN’T SHOW UP FOR THEMSELVES, THEY WON’T SHOW UP FOR YOU. MOVE ON. PATIENCE WILL ALWAYS BE A FRIEND. IT’S OKAY TO OUTCROW PEOPLE, PLACES. AND THINDS.”
