Brittish Williams’ Ex Lorenzo Gordon Indicted For Allegedly Falsifying PPP Paperwork, He Previously Claimed He “Wasn’t Aware” Of Her Crimes
Federal charges have officially been drawn against jailed reality star Brittish Williams’ ex fiancé.
Lorenzo Gordon is reportedly accused of wire fraud and government theft and is now facing jail time of his own.
According to reports, federal prosecutors claim that 40-year-old Lorenzo Gordon falsified PPP paperwork during the Covid 19 pandemic. Allegedly, the former professional baseball player lied about the details of two businesses he owned, including how long he operated them, how much revenue they brought in, and whether or not he was the sole owner. Prosecutors reported that Gordon allegedly received around $273,000 in illegal loan funds based on the distorted paperwork. He is reportedly charged with three counts of wire fraud and one count of theft of government property.
Gordon’s indictment comes months after his ex fiancée and reality TV star Brittish Williams was sentenced to four years in prison on fraud charges of her own. The “Basketball Wives” cast member plead guilty to five charges back in May of last year, with some of the crimes pertaining to illegally receiving funds from the PPP program as well. As we recently reported, the media personality previously stated that her ex “somewhat” knew about her criminal activity. However, Gordon immediately denied there was any truth to her claims, claiming if she was doing anything unlawful he “wasn’t aware”.
At this time, it’s unclear whether or not Gordon has been detained by authorities. Williams, on the other hand, was arrested by warrant and ordered to begin her lengthy sentence earlier this month after failing to report to jail on her scheduled day. Williams and Gordon were engaged to be married back in 2014 following several years of dating and starred on the VH1 reality series together, but have been on and off since. They also appeared for a season of the reality show “Marriage Bootcamp”. The two share a young daughter together, Dash Dior, 5, who Williams says will be staying with her mother full time while she serves out her sentence.
It doesn’t seem that Gordon nor Williams have spoken about his recent indictment publicly at this time.
