Ice Spice Accused Of Being Demonic After She Appears To Throw Up Hand Symbols While Wearing An Upside Down Cross At 2024 Super Bowl
Followers on social media are accusing rapper Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, of being satanic.
The musical artist attended the 2024 Super Bowl this past Sunday, Feb. 11, with pop star Taylor Swift to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers. While there, a video captured Ice Spice in the V.I.P. section at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, throwing up a hand gesture.
The action is now sparking claims from people on social media that she was throwing up satanic horns and wearing an upside-down cross, which is also known as a St. Peter’s cross.
A follower on “X,” formerly known as Twitter, tried to defend Ice Spice by talking about her background and posting a picture of different crosses,
“Ice Spice went to Catholic school and, in an interview, says she prays every day. I find it hard to believe she’s demonic.”
The follower went on to say,
“Then there’s St. Peter’s cross, which is traditionally Christian. A lot of Christians are unaware of this cross because they don’t read Christian history.”
But, other people felt differently about the hand signals and cross, accusing the 24-year-old rapper of working with and worshiping the devil.
One “X” user accused Ice Spice of “summoning” a Kansas City Chiefs win during the 2024 Super Bowl,
Below are some other mixed reactions from followers on “X,”
Since the incident, multiple sources said that celebrity jeweler Alex Moss designed Ice Spice’s cross and that it has no devil ties behind it whatsoever.
The sources also claimed that the jeweler, Alex Moss, made the pendant from black gold, a new material Alex Moss uses in a forthcoming collection.
Playboi Carti, whose real name is Jordan Carter, reportedly gifted the cross to Ice Spice.
Moss also posted the necklace on his Instagram on Sunday (Feb. 11), tagging Ice Spice and Playboi Carti’s Instagram pages.
