Floyd Mayweather continues to advocate for Israel amid the ongoing war in the Middle East.
As previously reported, last October, the Islamist militant group Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel. In response, Israel waged war against Hamas in Gaza, leading to tens of thousands of deaths, kidnappings, essential shortages, and a healthcare decline, in the months-long war.

Illustrious boxer Floyd Mayweather is the latest celebrity to step up and do his part. He sent a jet packed with resources like food, water, and protective gear for Israeli military troops.
Most recently, he made it his duty to visit the country during his world tour. Floyd Mayweather shared on his Instagram profile,
“Exploring the globe with my team on my annual world tour. This leg of my journey has brought me to Israel. We’re excited to learn more of its history and expand our knowledge. Let’s spread love and positivity together!”

According to reports, the 47-year-old has been proactive while visiting the Jewish nation. After landing in Tel Aviv, Mayweather stopped by the Israel Defense Forces and hosted a cookout for the soldiers.
Additionally, he went to the historical Western Wall and even the United Hatzalah headquarters, an emergency response service based in Jerusalem.
The organization’s president/founder Eli Beer told an outlet,
“It was an honor for us to host the incredible Floyd Mayweather, a true friend of United Hatzalah and of the people of Israel, who came to Israel especially in order to express solidarity and support.”
He added:
“He took the time to come and see the amazing work of thousands of volunteers in times of routine and during these challenging times. It’s a big honor for us, and we are thankful for his generous support.”
Beer granted Mayweather the Lifesaving Award. The boxing icon also received the Champion for Israel Award from the Dan Family Aish World Center for his help in combatting hate and antisemitism.
