Drake Blasts Rick Ross Amid Heated Rap Feud+ Takes Shots At Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, & Ja Morant

Rap star Drake’s ongoing rap beef is heating up and expanding his nemeses.

The Canadian musician’s alleged diss track was leaked recently, and the 37-year-old seemingly lyrically attacked several of his former friends/associates, including Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Rick Ross, and Ja Morant.

Drake’s response to his viral feud with Kendrick Lamar and now seemingly J. Cole hit the internet over the weekend. Though many debated at first whether or not the record was an A.I. knock-off or not, it was quickly assumed the diss was real after culture commentator DJ Akademiks played a remastered version of the song with a better beat and different lyrics a few hours later.

On the song, Drake allegedly addressed the “big 3” conversation involving himself, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar as well as Kendrick subsequently dissing J. Cole and Drake over the notion, claiming he’s biggest of them all. He also seemingly addressed J. Cole apologizing over the whole ordeal and revealed his beef with Rick Ross and NBA star Ja Morant.

Speaking on Rick Ross, Drake took shots at the Maybach Music founder, rapping:

“I might take your latest girl and cuff her like Ricky/ Can’t believe he’s jumping in, this n*gga turning 50/ Every song that made it on the chart he got from Drizzy/ Worry ’bout whatever going on with you and—.”

Rick Ross

Rick Ross responded, alleging Drake got a nose job and repeatedly referred to him as a “white boy” throughout the track “Champagne Moments”. On the response song, Ross rapped:

“You ain’t never wanted to be a n***a anyway nigga, that’s why you had an operation that make your nose looks smaller than your father nose, n***a. I unfollowed you, n***a, ’cause you sent a muthaf****n’ cease & desist to French Montana, n***a”

Drake responded again, this time sharing a text message between him and his mom where she asked about the cosmetic procedure rumors, to which Drake slammed Ross, telling her:

“It’s coming from Rick Ross the guy I did songs with he’s gone loopy off the Mounjaro he hasn’t eaten in days and it’s turned him angry and racist he’s performing at proms for money it’s bad don’t worry we’ll handle it”

Addressing his feud with Kendrick, Drake reportedly referenced the “Humble” rapper’s Grammy nominated album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” and also suggested Kendrick’s former Top Dawg Entertainment label mates SZA and Travis Scott are bigger artists that the Compton native. Drake rapped the lines:

“How the f*ck you big steppin’ with a size 7 men’s on?”

Kendrick Lamar

Later adding:

“Maroon 5 need a verse you better make it witty, then we need a verse for the swifties / Pip squeak pipe down, you ain’t in no big 3 / SZA got you wiped down / Travis got you wiped down / Savage got you wiped down,”

Going on to touch on the J. Cole to Kendrick apology, Drake allegedly rapped elsewhere on the song:

“I don’t care what Cole think, that Dot shit was weak as f*ck/ ‘Champagne trippin’, he is not f*ckin’ easin’ up’/ N*gga called up Top to see if Top wanna peace it up/ “Top, wanna peace it up? Top, wanna peace it up?”/ Nah, p*ssy, now you on your own when you speakin’ up.”

NBA star Ja Morant was also roped into the mix. Fans noticed the hooper responded to Metro Boomin’s request that people “pick a side” and stay there, writing on X (formerly Twitter):

“Stay on dat side”

Social media users claimed that the basketball player and Drake have beef because they used to be romantically linked to the same woman. It’s suspected that Drake referenced Morant on his recent diss track when he rapped the lyric:

“Shoutout to the hooper out here busting out the griddy. I know why you mad n*gga I ain’t even tripping.”

Despite seemingly being ganged up on, it doesn’t appear that Drake is backing down. The rapper took to social media with an interesting image from the movie Kill Bill that seemingly depicts him being ready to fight anyone who involves themselves.
