Kris Jenner Doesn’t Plan To Retire From Managing Her Famous Children Anytime Soon, Says Its ‘The Love Of Life’
The matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, Kris Jenner, isn’t planning her retirement anytime soon.
During a recent radio interview, the momager opened up about wanting to continue managing the careers of her famous children for as long as she can, sharing that it brings “different qualities” to her life.

Kris Jenner, 68, was asked about how long she plans to keep up with the careers of her famous kids, which include billionaire beauty mogul Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian. Referencing her 89-year-old mother while explaining why she doesn’t see herself quitting anytime soon, Kris Jenner stated:
“My mom [Mary Jo Campbell] retired when she was 82…And she talks about her job every single day when we’re together, and she will say to me, ‘Oh, my job kept me young, and with purpose, and with joy,”

Getting candid about loving her role as a celebrity manager, she continued:
“It’s finding solutions for thing. It’s your organizational skills. It’s your people skills. It’s the love of life…having somewhere to go…Getting up, getting dressed, presenting yourself to the world a certain way, and interacting with the people that you love.”

Along with the joys of her job, Kris also has a lucrative financial incentive to to continue working. The report notes that she’s been open about taking a 10% cut from all the entertainment partnerships, deals, and contracts that she books on behalf of her kids; and while Kris herself boasts a net worth of $200 million, two of her children, Kim and Kylie have already reached a billion dollar valuation at one point or another.

The celebrity family first got their rise to stardom after landing their hit reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s back in 2017, which Kris executive produced. Since dominating TV screens, the Kardshian/Jenner name has evolved into several booming business ventures in beauty, clothing, fashion, and tech. Most recently, the family got a reboot of their staple reality show, now tiled The Kardashian, which has been running on Hulu since 2021.
