Actress Pam Grier Reminisces On Steamy Kiss w/ Snoop Dogg For 2000’s ‘Bones’ Film: ‘Oh My God, He Can Kiss!’
Pam Grier shared a heartwarming and humorous reaction to Snoop Dogg’s famous fainting story during her recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
The 75-year-old Foxy Brown star reminisced about her encounter with the legendary rapper on the set of their 2000 film, Bones, and revealed a surprising talent of his.
Jennifer Hudson played a clip of Snoop Dogg, 52, recounting his experience of meeting Pam Grier for the first time. The rapper described how he fainted in the bathroom after Pam Grier sat next to him and started talking.
Grier responded with a laugh, bypassing the fainting part to discuss Snoop’s kissing skills, saying,
“Oh my God, and he can kiss! Oh my God, and he can slow dance! Let me tell ya, let me tell ya.”
She went on to recount when Snoop first told her this fainting story, saying,
“When he told me that, I said, ‘Oh my God, I’m glad he didn’t hurt himself.'”
On their friendship, she continued,
“Snoop and I have been friends forever. We’ve always supported each other’s art and he’s a genius. You’re a genius when you employ hundreds of people throughout your career.”
The two, of course, met while filming Bones, in which Snoop played the main character, Jimmy Bones, and Grier his girlfriend, Pearl. The pair had an intimate scene where they shared a kiss. The movie was a significant project for both stars, paying homage to Grier’s iconic roles in the blaxploitation genre.

The humorous fainting story was first told on the 85 South Show in 2022. Snoop Dogg vividly described the moment, stating:
“I’m in the airport, chillin’, sittin’ down. Then, a m***** f***** walk up behind … and it’s Pam Grier. She’s sitting next to me, and she’s like, ‘You ready for this role?’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, I’m ready, Foxy.’ So I said, ‘Give me one second.’ So I go to the bathroom and do this.”
The rapper then reenacted himself fainting and continued,
“N****, I can’t make it up … My security at the time had to come get me off the floor. I’m in a nasty a** bathroom on the floor.”
When Snoop’s security asked him what was wrong, he simply stated,
“I just met Pam Grier.”
