Simone Biles Reveals That She & Husband Jonathan Owens ‘Always’ Discuss Having Kids

Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens are looking to expand their family.

During a recent interview on the Today show, Simone Biles, 27, shared that she and Jonathan Owens, 29, are “always” discussing having children. She continued,

“He would have had them yesterday if he could have.”

And added,

“Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family. But yes, that’s definitely in our future.”

Simone Biles also mentioned that she envisions herself as a mother, though she has yet to set a timeline.

The couple’s conversation about starting a family comes after Simone Biles’ triumphant performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she became the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history with 11 medals.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, who married in April 2023 after meeting on the Raya dating app, have been each other’s biggest supporters throughout their relationship. Owens even took a break from Chicago Bears training camp to attend the Olympics, where he was “so excited” to witness Biles’ success firsthand.

Amid their personal and professional successes, the couple has faced criticism on social media over Owens’ previous comments on The Pivot Podcast, where he called himself “the catch” and admitted he didn’t initially recognize Biles’ Olympic fame.

Biles later clarified on the Call Her Daddy Podcast that the criticism had hurt her feelings, stating,

“I thought it was hilarious at first, and then they hurt my feelings … One night, I broke down, and I’m like, ‘Why are you guys talking about my husband like this?’”

Despite the backlash, Biles and Owens continue to support each other and look forward to their future together.
