Kevin Durant Goes Off On X Users Criticizing Team USA’s Win Over Serbia In Olympic Games: ‘Nobody Gives A F**k Who Y’all Lames Think Is The Best’
NBA super star Kevin Durant didn’t hold back during his recent confrontation with internet users.
The athlete sounded off on a few individuals who were criticizing to team USA’s win at the Olympics, and argued why he feels fan culture has reached dangerous heights.

Kevin Durant (NBA)
Kevin Durant, 35, addressed several individuals on X (formerly Twitter) around 5am this morning (Friday, August 9th), who had negative things to say about him and his Olympic teammates. In case you’re unfamiliar Team USA, comprised of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and more, were nearly upset by underdogs Team Serbia, led by Serbia native and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, in the semifinals of the Olympic basketball tournament.
While Team USA ended up taking home the win 95-91, many blasted the players for even allowing the Serbian team to get an advantage in the first place. Some who shared their critical opinions found themselves catching Kevin Durant’s wrath, as he defended his teammates and reversely called out toxic fan culture. Responding to one user who wrote:
“Serbia just took the most talented team in the history of the planet to the wire with a medal on the line. Team USA was a 16 point favorite. The whole country should be proud.”
Kevin Durant responded:
“Where you from”

In another post, the 2X NBA champion went on to mock another user who referred to him as an “insecure little ignorant b**ch”, simply responding:
“Will’s upset…”

Durant specifically called out Nuggets fans in a subsequent post, writing:
“To all you nuggets fans, nobody gives a f**k who yall lames believe is the best player in the league, players got major respect for Jok, we don’t worship him like yall do but most are in awe of his brilliance. Trolling you cornballs for rooting against us is apart of the game. Deal wit it”

Nikola Joki?
He further added in another post:
“Lets talk about the fan culture that’s been created recently. A lot of huge egos who believe they are the reason for the advancement of a sport. ALOT of idol worship, a lot of hate and division based off wins and losses, a lot of disrespect of the work being put in by these incredible athletes, mostly by people who don’t know what it takes to be good at anything besides talking…go do something and get out the way..”

Durant continued to keep the same energy in several other uploads.

Reacting to Durant’s rant, many social media users supported him, with some even expressing their shared animosity towards Nuggets fans. Others continued to slam the hooper.
