Matthew Perry – At Least One Doctor & Several Other Individuals Arrested In Connection To Actor’s Death

A police investigation into Matthew Perry’s death has led to multiple arrests.

Reports state that at least one doctor and several individuals involved in illegally obtaining and delivering a lethal amount of drugs to the actor have been detained following a probe by multiple federal agencies.

After Matthew Perry’s accidental drowning death back in October of last year, the DEA, U.S. Postal Service and LAPD conducted a months-long investigation that recently landed several individuals in police custody. Computers, phones, and other electronic equipment seized during the investigation reportedly revealed message exchanges discussing the Friends star’s inquiry about the ketamine that ultimately took his life, as well as how the dealers planned to deliver him the goods and how much he would be paying for the service.

If you recall, Matthew Perry tragically passed away at 54 years old last year after taking an amount of ketamine that is typically used for general anesthesia in surgery, resulting in him falling asleep and drowning in his hot tub. While the entertainer was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, it’s noted that his last scheduled session was a week and a half before his death, meaning the ketamine he had in his system was not a legal prescription.

At this time, authorities have not released the name of the doctor or the dealers involved. It is noted that a search warrant for actor Charlie Sheen’s ex-girlfriend Brooke Mueller, who had been in treatment with Perry, was issued. It’s undetermined, however, if she’s connected to the arrests. A report also notes that several other celebrities were discovered to be involved in the Hollywood drug scene as part of the agencies’ investigation.
