Shirley Strawberry Reportedly Finalizes Divorce From Estranged Husband Months After His RICO Indictment

Shirley Strawberry has reportedly finalized her divorce from Ernesto Williams.

According to a report from Rhymes with Snitch, radio host Shirley Strawberry officially terminated her marriage months after Ernesto Williams was arrested and indicted in Georgia on federal fraud charges.

As we previously covered, Shirley Strawberry filed the paperwork to end things with Ernesto Williams back in April of this year, just six days before he was accused of scamming at least 25 victims out of more than $750,000.

Prosecutors allege that Ernesto Williams leveraged his marriage to the Steve Harvey Morning Show co-host to pass himself off as a distinguished businessman and stole hundreds of thousands, including “personal vehicles, motorcycles, coach buses, trailers, automotive parts, and other various services and property.”

They also claim that Ernesto’s years of fraudulent activity began the day he married Shirley back in 2015, as he was reportedly already married to someone else when their nuptials took place.

Ernesto Williams is currently behind bars as he awaits trial for the 39 fraud charges filed against him.
