Kansas City Chiefs’ Star Rashee Rice’s Mom Allegedly Caught Stealing From Neighbor Months After Being Arrested On Theft Charges

NFL star Rashee Rice’s mom has been accused of multiple instances of stealing.

Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Marsha Kearney was arrested for theft charges over the spring, months before she was allegedly caught on camera stealing a package from an apartment complex this past Sunday (September 29th).

The court papers reportedly state that Kearney was detained and charged with one misdemeanor count of theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750 on March 27th, after a man accused her of stealing at least 40 items from his home, “including food, tumblers, laundry products, merchandise and socks.”

The charges were ultimately dropped, with a court official reportedly stating she completed some unspecified conditions.

Video footage of the most recent incident has been circulating on social media, as the victim’s ring camera appears to have caught Kearney in the middle of the crime.

In the clip, the NFL mom (wearing her son’s jersey) can be seen passing the door and eying the floor before circling back, and seemingly checking to see if she was in view of the camera. Next, it appears that she bends down and grabs something before walking away.

The victim subsequently shared the footage with police and claimed that the package held two limited-edition vinyl Chappell Roan records purchased from Urban Outfitters. The report notes that the neighbor allegedly attempted to reconcile the situation with Kearney and the apartment complex on their own, but did so to no avail.

At this time, police are still investigating and have not confirmed Kearney’s identity in the video.

Neither Kearney nor Rice – who suffered a potential season-ending injury during Sunday’s game – have commented publicly about the situation at this time.
