Shaq Reveals Why He Doesn’t Consider Texting Or Emotional Affairs As Cheating: ‘It Shouldn’t Matter What I’m Doing On My Phone’
Shaq is breaking down what he considers as cheating.
The retired NBA star sat down with WNBA player Angel Reese for her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” and the duo discussed a wide range of topics, including relationships and the rules of cheating.
Shaq first said he doesn’t believe texting or emotional affairs are considered cheating, especially if you really know your partner.
He later added that his stance could impact his love life in the future.
“I’m gonna end up alone. I already know it. Because y’all be making rules up as you go along. There is no handbook on how to be the perfect man or perfect husband … and y’all be making sh*t up without telling us.”
He added,
“If I’m not physically seeing somebody—me, the Diesel—and I’m with you every day and you know my schedule, it shouldn’t matter what I’m doing on my phone. It’s not cheating and then you can’t tell me that’s worse than cheating. It’s not. I just don’t understand that.”
He confessed,
“I already know I’m going to end up being alone.”
After Angel Reese said she hopes she finds “a lovely woman that understands you,” Shaq responded,
Nobody can understand me because I’m weird.”
