Diddy Accused of Orchestrating Children’s Birthday Post To Influence Potential Jurors & Allegedly Asked Them To Contact Witnesses & Victims

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing another rejected attempt at bail.

According to reports, prosecutors urged a judge not to grant the media mogul’s bond request in a recent motion, alleging he’s already breaking the law from behind bars.

They claim that Diddy, 55, is attempting to influence potential jurors in his May 2025 trial by urging his family members to “create narratives” that show him in a positive manner and post them online.

Specifically, prosecutors highlighted the sweet birthday post uploaded to Diddy’s Instagram account that showed several of his children gather together in honor of his November 4th birthday.

According to the Associated Press, prosecutors allege the media mogul:

“monitored the analytics, including audience engagement, from the jail and ‘explicitly discussed with his family how to ensure that the video had the desired effect on potential jury members in this case.’”

A judge has not responded to his latest attempt at bail at the time of this writing.

As previously reported, on September 16, 2024, Combs was arrested by U.S. Homeland Security investigators in Manhattan after he was indicted by a grand jury.

He is charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. During his first court appearance at a Manhattan federal courthouse on September 17, 2024, Combs pled not guilty. During this court appearance, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky denied Combs bail and ordered for him to remain to jail.

His attorneys offered a $50 million bond, but on September 18, a second judge, Andrew L. Carter Jr., also denied bail, as he is concerned about potential witnesses being threatened or intimidated.

Combs is detained in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. On September 24, a woman filed a lawsuit against Combs, alleging Combs and his head of security drugged her, bound her, and raped her in 2001 when she was 25 years old.
