Kyrie Irving Sued For Nearly $400,000 After Allegedly Failing To Pay Health & Wellness Co. For Services Provided
A hefty lawsuit has found its way to the desk of Kyrie Irving.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Elite Mind Solutions, a health and wellness company, is claiming that the NBA player ran off on a nearly $400,000 bill. Allegedly, the plaintiffs and their high-profile therapist, Natasha McCartney, were reportedly hired by Kyrie in the spring to work a retreat he held from June 28 to July 2.
Initially, the company was told the event would be somewhat of an intimate affair, with only 50-60 people in attendance. However, when the event rolled around, the suit says it actually turned out to be around 150 people present. Despite this, the company was still able to provide all of the therapeutic exercises and sessions that were promised, according to the lawsuit. The suit also mentions that someone unfortunately passed during the retreat and the health and wellness staff stepped up and provided crisis management services as well as grief counseling.

Following the event, the suit says that invoices totaling $390,710 were sent over to Kyrie, but the professional athlete never settled the debt.
The plaintiffs are now suing him for breach of contract and more. In addition to the bill, they’re also asking for interest and attorneys’ fees.
