Conor McGregor Announces Boxing Exhibition Against Logan Paul
Conor McGregor’s highly anticipated return to the UFC Octagon has been put on hold as the combat sports icon reveals he’s got other business to take care of first—a boxing exhibition against Logan Paul.
McGregor dropped the bombshell news early Tuesday (Dec. 17), shutting down rumors that he was set to face featherweight champion Ilia Topuria in the UFC. Instead, he revealed that his sights are now set on the WWE Superstar, Logan Paul. McGregor mentioned that he’s in “preliminary agreements” with the wealthy Ambani family to arrange the boxing match in India.

“I have agreed,” the former champ-champ stated. “I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
The Paul brothers have become well-known for their high-profile boxing matches. Jake Paul recently defeated Mike Tyson in one of the most-watched boxing events in recent history, and Logan Paul faced off with Floyd Mayweather in 2021.
McGregor, who made his name in the UFC, earned his biggest payday after his TKO loss to Mayweather in 2017, netting a reported $130 million from the event.

Logan, the former WWE United States Champion, has yet to comment on McGregor’s announcement. However, he’s largely been focused on raising his newborn daughter, Esmé, with fiancée Nina Agdal.
