Stephen A. Smith Explains Why He Doesn’t Have A Relationship w/ Skip Bayless: ‘He Never Called Me Back’ [VIDEO]

Stephen A. Smith is opening up about his non-relationship with Skip Bayless.

During a recent appearance on Camron’s podcast, Stephen explained that while he’s grateful to Skip for bringing him onto First Take, he made it clear that they don’t have a personal relationship.

He shared that despite reaching out to Skip multiple times—especially during the tension between Skip and Shannon Sharpe—he never received a callback.

While all three of them appeared on First Take, Skip and Shannon hosted FS1’s Undisputed, which ended with Shannon leaving the series after feeling Skip was “disrespectful.”

It’s safe to assume that Skip and Shannon’s fallout had a domino effect.
