Washington Commanders player Jeremy Reaves had a memorable moment on the field.
After his team’s win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday (Dec. 29), which secured their playoff spot, Reaves surprised his longtime girlfriend, Mikaela Worley, with a proposal.

Reaves had been holding onto the engagement ring for some time, telling the Associated Press, “That thing was burning a hole in my pocket.” However, he knew the Commanders needed to win for him to propose: “I hate losing, so there’s no way I could have done that in the right spirit after a loss.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
