NBA Star Draymond Green Fined $50,000 For Questioning Officials’ Integrity Amid Game 3 Loss To Minnesota Timberwolves
Draymond Green was fined $50,000 for questioning the integrity of game officials during the Warriors’ 102-97 loss to the Timberwolves.
The NBA cited Draymond Green’s reference to the game’s point spread, with Draymond Green allegedly saying, “Five-and-a-half. I know what they’re doing.” This fine adds to his nearly $1 million in career fines.
Green, with five technical fouls this postseason, faces a one-game suspension if he reaches seven. His career has also seen two suspensions, including for incidents in the 2023 and 2016 playoffs.
Head coach Steve Kerr noted Green’s competitive nature but acknowledged his need for composure.
