NBA Legend Allen Iverson Shares He’s Been Sober For 6 Months: ‘Best Decision’

The retired #NBA star has revealed that he has been sober for six months, marking a significant personal milestone. In an interview on CBS Mornings, Iverson, 50, shared that quitting alcohol was one of the “best decisions” of his life. He explained, “When you get drunk, you’re not how you usually are. The more and more I see it on other people, the more and more it made me happy about the decision.” Iverson also noted that his sobriety has positively impacted those around him, including his wife, Tawanna, stating, “The more and more I see how people around me appreciate it … I love it.”
This revelation comes as Iverson promotes his memoir, Misunderstood, where he delves into various aspects of his personal life and career.
