Venus Williams Marries Actor Andrea Preti, Holding Two Separate Ceremonies In Italy & Florida

The tennis star has tied the knot with actor?producer #AndreaPreti, celebrating their union with two separate wedding ceremonies in Italy and Florida. The couple, who first sparked engagement rumors earlier this year and confirmed the news in July, held their initial ceremony on Sept. 18 in Ischia, Italy, fulfilling their “dream” of a European celebration. Because Venus, a foreign national, needed more time to complete paperwork, the pair then held a second ceremony on Dec. 19 in Palm Beach, Florida, where Venus has roots.

Reflecting on the week of festivities in Florida, Venus shared with #Vogue, “They always say weddings go so fast, and they do… we had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends… singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.” Preti described their Florida courthouse ceremony as “unique, emotional, and deep.” He added that it was the “second-best day” of his life, following their big wedding in Italy. With two unforgettable celebrations behind them, Venus and Andrea are now officially husband and wife, ready to begin their next chapter together!
