O’Shea Jackson Jr. Claims Bam Adebayo Surpassing Kobe Bryant’s Record For 2nd-Highest-Scoring Game In NBA History Was ‘Manufactured’ & ‘Forced’
O’Shea Jackson Jr. Claims Bam Adebayo Surpassing Kobe Bryant’s Record For 2nd-Highest-Scoring Game In NBA History Was ‘Manufactured’ & ‘Forced’
Not everyone is celebrating Bam Adebayo’s record-setting NBA game.
In case you missed it: on Tuesday night (Mar. 10), Bam scored 83 points, the second-highest single-game total in NBA history, leading the Miami Heat to a 150-129 win over the Washington Wizards. With this performance, Bam surpassed #KobeBryant, who scored 81 points in a 2006 Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors game. Wilt Chamberlain still holds the top spot with 100 points in a single game back in 1962.
While fans and analysts are praising Bam, actor and Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., suggested that the #NBA may have had a hand in the feat. In a series of X posts, Jackson claimed the performance was “manufactured and forced.” He wrote, “The league showed that at anytime. A group of refs can just decide you’re getting everything called for you. And the guy you’re guarding could have 0 for the night.” He added in another post, “This sh*t really changed how I look at the NBA,” and defended Kobe’s legacy, saying, “The Kobe hate propaganda is insane.” While some fans agreed with Jackson’s perspective, others pushed back, arguing he’s simply upset that someone surpassed Kobe’s record.
#TJBCrew, do you agree with Jackson’s theory? Or is he just a little hurt?
