Michael B. Jordan: “I only want to go out for roles that were written for white characters.”
Michael B. Jordan is new king of breaking barriers. You may remember him as Wallace from the hit series The Wire or from Fruitvale Station where he recreated the last day in the life of Oscar Grant who was shot by a transit cop on New Year’s Eve. Since then, the 28-year-old actor has been going for roles you wouldn’t normally see male African Americans play. Jordan recently interviewed with GQ Magazine discussing his new role in Creed, his career, upbringing, and of course his love life (tune in ladies!). On women and relationships:

Aside from his title role in Creed, Jordan is also still doing promotional touring for Fantastic Four, released in this past August. Though the movie didn’t gross as much as the box offices and producers
had hoped for, it’s safe to say Jordan’s career will not be affected especially after watching the official trailer.
On his career:
I want to part of that movement that blurs the lines between whites and blacks. I told my team after I finished Chronicle that I only want to go out for roles that were written for white characters. Me playing the role will make it what it is.
