Amar’e Stoudemire Cheated On Wife, Paying Child Support
Amar’e Stoudemire is being sued by a woman that he reportedly had an affair with. The former NBA baller is is currently married to his wife of five years, Alexis Welch.
They share four children.
A woman named Quynn Lovett alleges he fathered her daughter, Zoe Renee, last year.
Stoudemire acknowledges that he may be the father and is paying $4,333 a month in temporary child support.
In the lawsuit, Lovett is seeking full custody and permanent child-support payments. She also alleges that the ex baller has not helped pay the $11k in hospital bills from the birth of their alleged child. She also claims Stoudemire has not been involved in her daughter’s life.
Stoudemire has responded to the lawsuit, calling it “frivolous,” adding that he had been “informed of his paternity several months after the child was born.” Stoudemire said a child-support payment plan has been in place since Nov. 1.
The lawsuit does not disclose the intimate details of Lovett and Stoudemire’s relationship.
