Jamie Foxx’s “Robin Hood” Suffers Worst Box Office Debut Of 2018
Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx’s “Robin Hood” has reportedly had the weakest box office debut of 2018 – so far. The film’s budget was $100 million, but it globally grossed a reported $22 million during it’s Thanksgiving opening weekend.

The film raked in around $9 million Friday through Sunday, but around $14 million over the five-day holiday weekend. The film’s story followed after 2017’s “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,” and faced competition from Michael B. Jordan’s “Creed II;” the sequel to “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” which starred Taraji P. Henson.
The film has been in production for quite some time. In 2016, theJasmineBRAND reported Foxx had been cast to play Little John in the forthcoming film. It was confirmed Foxx would star in the medieval classic in July 2018.
With 35 days left in 2018, maybe another film will replace “Robin Hood’s” fragile top spot.
