41-Year-Old Floyd Mayweather Jr. Defeats 20-Year-Old Japanese Kickboxer In 9 Minutes

Apparently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. changed his mind about participating in an exhibition match with Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31). The retired boxer announced in November he would be backing down in the fight via an Instagram post, but what caused the 41-year-old to have a change of heart has not been determined. He gloated about the victory via another Instagram post captioning the image,
What if I told you I was making $9,000,000 for 9 minutes of sparring in Tokyo Japan would you do the same if you were me? I like to call it a 9 minute walk thru.

Mayweather defeated 20-year-old Nasukawa in 139 seconds, knocking him down three times within the first round; resulting in Nasukawa’s corner forfeiting the match. Even with Mayweather’s win, the championship boxer still has no plans on returning to boxing.
I’m still retired, don’t look forward to coming back to boxing. I did it just to entertain fans in Japan. I’m still retired. I’m still 50-0 and Nasukawa is still undefeated, and a hell of a fighter.
